There are three crystal types of titanium dioxide: anatase, rutile and plate titanium. Anatase titanium dioxide has strong light catalysis and photoelectric conversion efficiency, so it is widely used in air purification, wastewater degradation and other fields. Rutile titanium dioxide is the most stable crystal, compared with anatase titanium dioxide has higher stability and refractive index, is an ideal inorganic UV screen agent, widely used in sunscreen cosmetics, chemical fiber, plastics, rubber and coatings and other fields.
In recent years, more and more studies have found that the mixed crystal structure of anatase and rutile type titanium dioxide has stronger photocatalytic and photoelectric conversion efficiency. For example, titanium dioxide P25 is a mixed crystal of "anatase (~80%)+ rutile (~20%)", because the two crystal phases are mixed to increase the defect density in the TiO2 lattice, increase the concentration of carriers, increase the number of electrons and holes, so that it has a good application effect, as a photocatalyst used in many industries. However, P25 products are more expensive, performance needs to be further improved, and the cost of large-scale application is high.
JWN-TO-AR25 is a nanoparticle titanium dioxide with mixed crystal type and high dispersion prepared by our company by gas pyrolysis process. Its properties are comparable to titanium dioxide P25, and the weight ratio of anatase to rutile is about 80:20. The purity of the product is greater than 99.5%, the primary particle size is about 25nm, and the specific surface area is about 50 m2/g. The product is suitable for catalytic and photocatalytic fields, for air treatment, water purification, sterilization, self-cleaning materials; At the same time, it can also be used as an effective UV shielding material for sunscreen skin care products, ink coatings, new energy and other fields.
