(1) Sterilization and disinfection
Nano TiO2 has a long-term bactericidal effect under the action of sunlight. It can completely kill malignant HeLa and other cells. The killing rate of Bacillus subtilis var. Niger, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella, odontobacter and Aspergillus reaches more than 98%. Using nano TiO2 photocatalytic oxidation for advanced treatment of water can greatly reduce the number of bacteria in the water; adding nano TiO2 in the coating can produce bactericidal, antifouling, deodorizing, self-cleaning antibacterial antifouling coating, which can be used in hospital wards, operating rooms, toilets and other places where bacteria are dense and easy to breed, effectively kill harmful bacteria, prevent infection and play the role of deodorization.
(2) Preservation of fruits and vegetables
Nano TiO2 can promote the decomposition of acetylene gas which promotes the ripening and aging of fruits and vegetables, and is conducive to the long-term preservation of fruits and vegetables, and can also inhibit the propagation of bacteria and molds, and keep the storage space clean.
